Stephen Bywater has signed a new one-year deal at S6.
The keeper will have opposition from new signing Chris Kirkland for the keeper’s spot but said after extending his stay: “It was a no-brainer for me. I was always going to sign as soon as I knew of the offer.
“This is the biggest club outside the Premiership – and that is fact.”
