Garry Monk is hoping to have Julian Borner back in defence for Sunday’s televised lunchtime clash at Swansea.
Borner missed the midweek defeat to West Brom after suffering a dead leg in the win at Bristol City last weekend but he has been back in training in the last couple of days and Monk believes the defender should be ready to face a Swansea side still hoping for a place in the play-offs.
Monk may also decide to freshen up the side with a change or two in the starting line-up as we face a busy schedule in the closing stages of the delayed season.
After the midweek results and before Saturday’s fixtures, we sit in 13th place on 52 points, nine ahead of the relegation zone with six matches left but with the possibility of an EFL points deduction still hanging over us.
The Swansea game is a noon kick off on Sunday and is live on Sky Sports.
