Barry Bannan is available for selection again for Saturday’s trip to Bristol City after his three-match ban.
Bannan has had to sit out the homes games with Charlton and Blackburn and the trip to Huddersfield and, although Wednesday have won all three games in his absence, such has been his influence in the midfield this season that Carlos Carvalhal is likely to find a place for him in the starting line-up at Bristol.
