Wednesday have no new injury problems for our Sunday lunchtime FA Cup first round tie with Plymouth at Hillsborough.
Darren Moore says Barry Bannan should be available for selection after limping off with an ankle injury during the second half of Tuesday night’s 3-0 win over Sunderland and he confirmed that all our loan players have been cleared to play in the FA Cup by their parent clubs.
The Owls boss also indicated that the tie is expected to come too soon for long-term injury casualties Massimo Luongo and George Byers, along with Sam Hutchinson who has been sidelined since last month with a muscle problem.
Dominic Iorfa continues to be ruled out after suffering a muscle injury in training, he has now had a scan and Moore says he will have more news next week.
Plymouth, managed by former Owls striker Ryan Lowe, sit second in the division one table.
The tie, which kicks off at 12.15pm, will be screened live on ITV. The programme starts at 11.30am and with ex-Wednesday favourite Chris Waddle one of the television pundits.
