Atdhe Nuhiu spent 90 minutes on the bench as his Kosovo team-mates came back from behind to beat the Czech Republic 2-1 in their Euro 2020 qualifier in Pristina on Saturday afternoon.
The Wednesday striker was an unused substitute in the game, victory taking Kosovo to the top of Group A and a point ahead of England, before their early evening match against Bulgaria at Wembley.
The two teams then meet at St, Mary’s Stadium, Southampton on Tuesday evening in another group match, with Nuhiu hoping to get some game time against Gareth Southgate’s side.
