Carlos Carvalhal is likely to shuffle his pack for tonight’s Capital One Cup first round tie with Mansfield at Hillsborough.
Carvahal hinted after Saturday’s opening day win over Bristol City that he would make changes for tonight and with a good size of squad at his disposal, plus lower division opposition, he can be expected to do so.
New signings Modou Soughou and Rhoys Wiggins are likely to be considered for a starting place against the Stags, along with players such as Liam Palmer, Jose Semedo, Kieran Lee and Caolan Lavery, who were all on the substitutes’ bench on Saturday.
