Josh Windass has won the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award for January after his excellent start to the year.
He scored a hat-trick in Wednesday’s opening game of 2023, a 5-0 win over Cambridge United at Hillsborough and followed this with both goals as we knocked out Premier League Newcastle in the FA Cup third round five days later.
It also means the Owls have won the PFA award in back-to-back months, following Marvin Johnson’s success in December.
