Owls hope to have Johnson back for Leeds clash

Leeds United

Wednesday are hoping to agree a new deal that will bring Roger Johnson back to Hillsborough.

The central defender has returned to Wolves after his loan spell ran out at the end of last month but we are keen to get him back to S6 and Stuart Gray said today: “We’re hoping something can get sorted out before the Leeds game next Saturday. Roger is happy at the club and wants to come back.”

Wolves boss Kenny Jackett has also confirmed that talks are on-going and says it is now a matter of whether the finances can be agreed to allow Johnson to return to Wednesday.
