The on-off transfer of Bolton midfielder Mark Davies to Wednesday now appears to be close to completion.
His move, reportedly for a £750,000 fee, looked to have hit the buffers yesterday amidst talk of contractual problems. However, these appear to have been resolved and, subject to passing a medical, Davies could sign a two-and-a-half year deal in the next day or two.
