Dave Jones saluted the 38,000 Wednesday fans after we clinched promotion to the Championship in a 2-0 win over Wycombe on Saturday.
Reflecting on a great day at S6, Jones said: “Our fans are just incredible. They were superb today, as they have been since I arrived here.
“I have been at a few clubs in my time and believe me, these supporters are right up there with the best.”
On the game, Jones said: “I can’t remember how we played – all that mattered was the result and we got it.”
