Marvin Johnson has signed a new deal with Wednesday after being offered another contract.
The 32-year-old moved to Hillsborough two years ago on a free transfer and has since played 95 times for the Owls.
He told the club website: “I’ve spent the last two years here and I’ve loved it.
“It’s a great club and the season we had last year was justified with the work we put in and I’m excited to be here back in the Championship.”
Johnson’s deal follows Reece James signing a permanent contract after his loan spell at S6.
