Almen Abdi is injured yet again as Wednesday prepare for Saturday’s Championship kick off at Wigan.
Jos Luhukay said the midfielder had been training with the first team squad until 10 days ago when he suffered a hamstring problem.
Abdi signed for us for a reported £4m fee from Watford two years ago but has been plagued by injuries for much of his time at S6 and has made just 12 league appearances for us.
Luhukay said: “We must wait for the reaction from Abdi. He’s now slowly back in individual training. We have to have some patience before he can start anew with the team.”
