Chansiri speaks after Moore’s Hillsborough exit

Dejphon Chansiri has tonight spoken for the first time about yesterday’s departure of manager Darren Moore ‘by mutual consent’.

Speaking to a pre-arranged Fans’ Forum at Hillsborough, the club chairman said of Moore’s shock exit: “It’s not complicated. It happens in football, coaches come and go. This is normal.

”I can’t talk much because I promised with Darren I will not say anything. If he says first, then I will say it.

“If you want more info, maybe go and ask him.”

As for the search for a replacement, Chansiri said: “We will have the new coach soon. I’ll try to do so before the players come back.

“In the Championship it’s more difficult than League One. It’s easier to recruit faster in League One.”

He added: “The new manager will come because of the club. They will know how I support the coach. You don’t need to worry.

“Every coach before I recruit will know everything about us.”
