Rhodes off to Norwich in loan deal
Jordan Rhodes has joined Championship rivals Norwich on a season-long loan. Rhodes, who initially signed for us from Middlesbrough on loan in January 2017 and then completed a reported £8m move, has failed to make a big impression at Hillsborough, scoring only 10 goals in 55 appearances.

Wednesday have unveiled our new away kit for next season … hot on the heels of the ‘return to stripes’ home shirt. The away strip, shown off in the picture by Jordan Thorniley, Barry Bannan, Fernando Forestieri and Keiren Westwood, will get its first outing at Wigan on the opening day of the season.

Two more date changes have been announced for Wednesday’s fixtures for the forthcoming season. Our midweek trip to Millwall next year has been moved forward 24 hours to Tuesday, February 12 and it is likewise for the home game with Bolton, which will now take place on Tuesday, November 27.
