Head coach Carlos Carvalhal is looking forward to choosing the team at Ipswich on Saturday … despite a potential selection headache after two victories with two vastly different starting line-ups in our season openers.
Carvalhal said: “This is a very, very good problem for me to have.
“We will look at the weak points and strong points of Ipswich and then choose the best players to try to win the game. It is not just a question of performance but also a question of the strategy to the game and everyone must be ready to play.”
Referring to the omission of Stevie May, Sergiu Bus and Darryl Lachman from the first team squad so far this season, the head coach said: “I chose the best players in my opinion to win the matches against Bristol and then against Mansfield.
“It is not a problem, this happens in teams throughout the world.”
