Carlos Carvalhal heaped praise on his Wednesday team after the stunning Capital One Cup win over Arsenal.
The head coach said: “We got exactly what we deserved tonight as the players worked incredibly hard. They did everything that I asked of them before the game which was very pleasing and they deserve all of the credit.
“Arsenal had international players like Cech, Debuchy and Mertesacker in their starting line-up, and we were still the better team on the night,
“The reason we won this game is because of our work rate but also because of our quality.”
