Barry Bannan will remain at Hillsborough for at least another season.
His contract was due to run out at the end of this campaign but Darren Moore confirmed today that an extension has been triggered, based on the number of appearances the skipper has made this season, and he will be staying at S6.
Moore said today: “It’s fantastic and nice to know that somebody of Baz’s calibre is staying.
“His relationship with the club has been unique, he is so committed and it’s great to know that it’s going to continue.”
