Glenn Loovens missed the Cardiff victory following a groin injury that forced him off at half-time against Newcastle, Vincent Sasso taking his place in the centre of the defence. Sam Hutchinson was ruled out again with the calf problem suffered at Barnsley and Sam Winnall was absent from the squad.
