Gary Madine’s future at Hillsborough will not be decided until he is sentenced in the coming weeks.
Madine was yesterday found guilty at Leeds Crown Court of assaulting two men in separate incidents at Sheffield bars and he was told by the judge that he could expect to be jailed.
Speaking after today’s 1-1 draw with Yeovil, Dave Jones said the club would make a statement with regard to the player once Madine’s sentence is announced.
• Jones also revealed that Wednesday have taken Manchester City’s young defender George Swann on a youth loan.
