Wednesday have confirmed that midfielder Liam Shaw has signed a pre-contract agreement with Celtic.
Shaw remains a Wednesday player until the expiry of his contract at Hillsborough and will be available for selection for the rest of this season.
The club added in a statement on its website that it is currently investigating the matter and will consider if there are any further steps available to protect its interests.
