We should have won says boss

Dave Jones echoed the sentiments of  the 4,000 Wednesday fans at Huddersfield earlier today … we’re disappointed not to have won but would have settled for four points from two away games before we set out for Bolton on Boxing Day morning.

Reacting to the goalless draw in West Yorkshire, Jones said: “It’s always nice to get a point on the board but that was a game we should have won. I think we should have had a penalty early in the game and we’ve gone on to dominate but we didn’t take our chances.

“With a little bit more composure we score at least one goal and from there I’m sure we’d have gone on to win the game. But we’ve taken four points from two tough away games and we would have taken that.”
