Liam Palmer has been given a three-match suspension after his sending off at West Brom on Saturday.
Palmer was red carded for a reckless stoppage time challenge on Grady Diangana and will now miss Wednesday evening’s home game with Birmingham, Saturday’s trip to Charlton and the visit of Brentford to Hillsborough on December 7.
Garry Monk could recall Moses Odubajo for Palmer or bring Tom Lees back into the centre of the defence and move Dominic Iorfa to right back.
