Goals from Jacques Maghoma, Gary Madine and Atdhe Nuhiu saw Wednesday ease through to the second round of the Capital One Cup with a 3-0 win over Notts County.
Maghoma fired us in front in the second minute and Madine doubled the lead with a close-range effort on 10 minutes to put the Owls firmly in early control.
Wednesday failed to build on the flying start but a second-half header from Nuhiu – who was guilty of earlier misses – made sure of our place in tomorrow evening’s second round draw.
