Reports are indicating that Wednesday’s soft transfer embargo has been lifted.
The club has been operating under transfer restrictions for several months but the Sheffield Star reported on Friday afternoon that, following talks with the EFL, we have now been cleared to sign players from other clubs, although one or two details have still to be agreed.
All three of our summer signings – Julian Börner, Moses Odubajo and Kadeem Harris – were free agents.
