Reda on course for place in starting line-up

Reda Johnson could be back in the Wednesday starting eleven for the first time this season when we face Millwall at S6 on Saturday.

He played for just over an hour in the under-21s’ 3-2 win against Coventry at Hillsborough on Monday and suffered a slight ankle knock – but is expected to be in the squad for Saturday and could well start the game at left back.

Reda came on as a second-half substitute at Leeds last Saturday, playing in a midfield role, but is likely to revert to his normal defensive slot if ready to start on Saturday.

Two goals from Caolan Lavery and another from Rhys McCabe saw the under-21s twice come behind to defeat the Sky Blues on Monday – the Owls line-up also including Paul Corry, Rafael Floro and Jacques Maghoma.
