Young midfielder Liam Palmer has signed a new two-and-a-half-year contract with Wednesday.
Palmer, 21, has been on loan with Tranmere this season and has played his part in the club’s promotion challenge from Division One. He will remain at Prenton Park until the end of the campaign.
The former academy player at S6 has made 31 first-team appearancs for the Owls, scoring one goal and the new deal runs until the summer of 2015.
