Palmer ruled out of Scotland squad

Liam Palmer will miss Scotland’s upcoming triple header of games through injury.

Palmer suffered a back problem after coming on as an early substitute in Wednesday’s 1-1 home draw with QPR on Saturday. He was subbed himself at half time and now Scotland boss Steve Clarke has confirmed that Palmer has withdrawn from his squad.

Scotland face Israel at Hampden Park in their Euro 2020 semi final tomorrow evening, followed by two Nations League games in Glasgow.

Our recent signing, Callum Paterson, is in the Scotland squad for the three matches.
