Sky Sports is reporting this evening that Wednesday have approached Rotherham for permission to speak with Steve Evans over the vacant manager’s position at Hillsborough.
Milan Mandaric is also reported to have told the station that he has already had 50-60 applications for the job since yesterday’s sacking of Dave Jones and that he wants to get it down to a shortlist of three or four contenders.
