Owls look to stretch undefeated run with a trip to the Palace

Wednesday have no new injury problems for the trip to bottom-of-the-table Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Former Palace defender Anthony Gardner could return to the squad after injury while Dave Jones is likely to have to choose between Gary Madine and Chris O’Grady to partner Rodri up front.

O’Grady impressed when coming on to replace Madine at Hillsborough last Saturday while Madine scored his first goal of the season in the midweek Capital One cup win over Premier League Fulham.

Palace have yet to get a point this season while Wednesday look to make it 20 games without defeat and keep up our excellent early season form. And we will be hoping for reveange after our last meeting – a 2-2 home draw in the Championship on the last day of the season in 2010 when a point saw Palace stay up, also meaning we were relegated.

* The London Owls will be meeting at The Railway Telegraph, 19 Brigstock Road, CR7 7JJ, almost opposite Thornton Heath rail station, before and after Saturday’s game.
