Wednesday will be hoping Tom Lees is fit to return to the defence for the home clash with his former club, Leeds United, on Saturday lunchtime.
Lees missed the defeat at Burton after taking a heavy kick at Norwich and Carlos Carvalhal said they had hoped he would recover in time for the trip to the Pirelli Stadium.
Now the head coach will be looking for Lees to declare himself fit for the Yorkshire derby.
