Steven Fletcher could get a recall to the Scotland squad for their Nations Cup games against Albania and Israel next month.
Fletcher, who last played for the national team a year ago, has impressed for Wednesday this season after returning from a long-term injury and under-pressure Scotland boss, Alex McLeish, has hinted he may select the frontman for his next squad.
McLeish, who has struggled to get positive results in his second spell in charge of the Scots, said: “Steven Fletcher is now coming back into the scene at Sheffield and we’ll look at that one with a bit of interest.”
