Aiden McGeady is expected to go straight into the squad to face Burnley at S6 tomorrow evening.
The loanee winger, who has not figured in the Everton first team in recent months, trained with Wednesday this morning and, provided all the paperwork goes through in time, Carlos Carvalhal indicated that he could well figure against the Clarets.
Carvalhal will also make wholesale changes from last Saturday’s line-up, having rested several first teamers for the Shrewsbury cup tie.
