Wednesday have completed a loan deal for Everton winger Aiden McGeady until the end of the season.
McGeady, a Republic of Ireland international, has failed to command a first-team place at Goodison Park this season and his arrival provides much-needed competition for the wideman positions at S6.
The 29-year-old spent six years at Celtic, where he made more than 250 appearances, before moving to Spartak Moscow for a reported £9.5m in 2010.
He then returned to Britain when he joined Everton two years ago and has played 43 times for the club.
