Lees ‘ruled out until the New Year’

Tom Lees could be out of action until mid-January according to reports.

The Sheffield Star is saying scans have shown the central defender suffered a torn hamstring in last week’s cup tie at Stoke and that he is likely to be out for between four to six weeks.

Sam Hutchinson successfully switched from midfield to the centre of defence to replace Lees for yesterday’s goalless draw with Derby while Michael Turner is back in training after his  lengthy lay-off.
