Tom Lees is available for tonight’s home game with Bournemouth after serving his one-match ban.
Lees, sent off at Rotherham last week, missed the defeat at Wycombe on Saturday but is expected to return to the squad to face third-placed Bournemouth.
Joost van Aken will serve the final game of his three-match suspension while Massimo Luongo (knee) and Aden Flint (hamstring) are still out injured.
The game kicks off at 7pm, with Wednesday still on minus four points at the foot of the table and having suffered four successive defeats in the Championship.
