Wolves defender Roger Johnson is set to join Wednesday on a three-month loan deal.
Terms have been agreed between the two clubs for the 30-year-old to move to Hillsborough.
Johnson, who has not figured for Wolves this season, played with Dave Jones at Cardiff.
