“It wasn’t good enough” says manager

Darren Moore’s summary of tonight’s exit from the FA Cup at Plymouth was honest and simple: “We weren’t good enough tonight. I said to the players it was not good enough.”

Moore said the most disappointing factor was losing to errors for all three Plymouth goals … before switching his attentions to Saturday’s return to league action at Accrington.

The Owls boss added: “We are disappointed to be out of the FA Cup but we have to get back to the league programme and try and get the momentum back.

“The only way we addresss this tonight is win on Saturday.”

Dennis Adeniran is the latest injury casualty, limping off after only 25 minutes with a hamstring problem at Home Park. Marvin Johnson was missing from tonight’s squad, also with a hamstring injury, and Moore said that striker Lee Gregory is touch and go for Accrington after being ruled out of the last two games with a calf strain.
