Keiren Westwood is still troubled by his knee injury and is a doubt for the season finale at home to QPR on Sunday.
Cameron Dawson has deputised for Westwood in recent games while Steve Bruce could take the opportunity to have a look at Joe Wildsmith in competitive action.
Bruce has confirmed that Achraf Lazaar is ruled out while fellow loanee Josh Onomah is also doubtful. Dominic Iorfa is already missing through suspension after his red card at Preston and, in addition, will be banned for the opening two games of next season.
