Dave Jones says he won’t be walking away from the Wednesday job after a seventh successive defeat left us in deep relegation trouble.
Following the home reverse by Bristol City, Jones said he hoped to still be in charge at Barnsley next Saturday.
Referring to the decision by the referee to rule out a late Gary Madine ‘equaliser’ – for the ref saying he had been manhandled moments earlier by a protesting Miguel Llera over a penalty claim – Jones said if that was the case then Llera had cost the Owls a point because of his actions.
