Sam Hutchinson has been ruled out of the Owls squad until after the upcoming international break.
The midfielder limped off with a knee injury in the draw with QPR earlier this month and Carlos Carvalhal says he will continue to be sidelined for the Carabao Cup tie at Bolton on Tuesday evening and the trip to Burton on Saturday.
Carvalhal, who may look to bring in another central midfielder before next week’s transfer deadline, said: “Sam is progressing. It is not a question of months. It is a question of weeks to recover.”
