Stuart Gray praised the character of his Wednesday team as they won through at Rochdale today in what he described as a typical FA Cup tie.
After seeing the Owls go two-up, get pegged back by a Rochdale wonder goal and then be reduced to 10 men, Gray said: “The players showed unbelievable desire to see us through and they really dug in for the final 20 minutes.”
He also praised the 3,500 travelling Wednesday fans for their “fantastic support” and added “the character the players showed was tremendous”.
