Good news on injury front as Owls prepare for Gills

Injured trio Josh Windass, Harlee Dean and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing are all in contention for a place in the squad at Gillingham tomorrow.

Darren Moore confirmed today that he will make a late decision on Windass and Dean while Laing will be assessed ahead of the trip to Kent.

Moore also has to decide whether to recall Lee Gregory and Jack Hunt to the starting line-up after they started Tuesday’s midweek home draw with Accrington on the bench.

Liam Palmer and Lewis Gibson are likely to be missing through injury, along with Ciaran Brennan who took a knock this week for the under-23s.

We go into the Gillingham game in seventh, a point and one place adrift of the play-offs and, with our rivals in excellent form of late, we really need all three points against a struggling side to keep up our promotion challenge.
