Croatian striker eyes ‘dream move’ to Hillsborough

Wednesday are reportedly on the verge of signing Croatian striker Ivan Krstanovic from Dinamo Zagreb.

Thirty-year-old Krstanovic believes a deal has been agreed between the clubs and says he is hoping a few final pieces of administration can be ironed out to allow him to move to Hillsborough this summer.

Krstanovic is quoted as saying: “I’m all agreed with the English club, now I’m just waiting on a work permit. Will I get one? I don’t really know, but in a few days I will get a final answer.

“Of course I hope that I will move to Sheffield Wednesday, that would be a dream come true for me.”

Dinamo are the current Croatian League champions and the ‘six foot five inch’ Krstanovic scored seven league goals in 22 league games during their successful campaign.
