Wednesday have confirmed that Rob Jones has signed for near neighbours Doncaster Rovers.
Jones joined us on loan from Scunthorpe in March 2011 and signed a permanent deal last summer, being made club captain under Gary Megson.
He made 45 appearances, scoring five goals, but does not figure in Dave Jones’ first team plans and has made the move to division one Doncaster by mutual consent.
