Charlton are now more confident that our match at the Valley on Saturday will go ahead…but the game could still be hit by the possibility of more snow on the way.
The work of groundstaff and volunteers, coupled with a rise in temperature, has seen the majority of snow cleared from the playing surface. In addition, the local authorities will be helping to make the surrounding streets and walkways safe.
The biggest danger of a postponement now appears to be the forecast of the possibility of more snow for the area late on Friday and into Saturday morning.
