The provisional running order for the upcoming Championship play-off matches has been confirmed.
Wednesday, Reading and Huddersfield have all secured places in the end-of-season showdown while sixth-placed Fulham are three points ahead of Leeds going into the final day and look certain to be the fourth team in the play-offs. Only a Fulham loss to us on Sunday, coupled with a Leeds win at Wigan and a 13-goal swing, would see the Elland Road outfit claiming that final spot.
The provisional play-offs order is:
Sat 13 May: 6th v 3rd (5:30pm)
Sun 14 May: 5th v 4th (12:00pm)
Tue 16 May: 3rd v 6th (7:45pm)
Wed 17 May: 4th v 5th (7:45pm)
Mon 29 May: Play-Off Final (3:00pm)
The only reason this would change is if Leeds performed a footballing miracle and end up in sixth place and either ourselves or Huddersfield also finish third. Ties would then be revised to ensure this semi final took place on Sunday May 14 and Wednesday May 17.
