Barry Bannan will miss Tuesday evening’s trip to QPR … but could be back for Saturday’s match at Hull.
A groin injury forced the midfielder off after just half an hour against Fulham on Saturday and there were fears he might not play again this season.
However, after having a scan on the injury on Monday, Bannan tweeted: ‘Scan results good. Happy man, get ready for the weekend now’.
Before the scan, Jos Luhukay had already confirmed Bannan would not be ready for the match with Ian Holloway’s men.
We also wait to see if Luhukay decides to give Fernando Forestieri a place in the starting line-up at QPR as he continues his comeback from a long-term knee injury.
