They are back in action in the competition on Sunday when they travel to play the Faroe Islands.
After Thursday night’s win over Malta, Kosovo head their group by two points from Azerbaijan.
Meanwhile, young defender Ash Baker impressed in midfield when playing for the Welsh under-21s in their 2-0 European Championship qualifier defeat in Romania on Friday.
