A much-improved overall performance saw Wednesday end a run of six successive defeats with a point in a six-goal thriller at Burnley on Tuesday night.
Chris O’ Grady on 23 and 64 minutes pulled Wednesday back on level terms after Charlie Austin (22 and 38) had scored with two headers for the home side. Austin completed his hat-trick with six minutes remaining but Michail Antonio levelled two minutes later with a briliant 25-yarder to earn us a much-needed point.
Dave Jones will be pleased with the attacking display but will once again be left concerned about our defending after scoring three goals away from home but still failing to secure all three points.
