Steve Agnew praised the team’s performance after our 3-0 FA Cup defeat at Chelsea.
The caretaker boss said: “I have to give credit to the players, they gave everything in terms of the character, the effort and the organisation.”
He said they carried out the game plan well but that it was difficult to create chances against the quality of the opposition.
Agnew added that he agreed with the penalty decisions from VAR – one ruling out our spot kick and the other confirming a penalty for Chelsea, all within the space of a couple of minutes.
